Festive Road was delighted once again to be a key partner for the Northampton Diwali Parade. After the virtual event of 2020, it was wonderful to take to the streets of Northampton again as part of the annual Festival of Lights celebrations, organised by the Indian Hindu Welfare Organisation with support from West Northants Council and Northampton BID.
In addition to Harminder, Shanti, Rama & Sita, Hanuman ji, Ravana, and Ganesh, Festive Road also showcased their newest deity, Lakshmi.
We are also worked with a number of schools within the Northampton area making lanterns to help to illuminate the parade, as well as residents of St Crispins Retirement Village.
As an added bonus, we were joined by Four by Four Bhangra, who added their own unique style to the celebrations.
