Festive Road finds a new home!

After ten years based in Milton Keynes, outdoor arts company Festive Road, is excited to announce a move to larger premises in the region at Kiln Farm.

The new premises will enable Festive Road to design, build and house new creations, as well as existing family members Harminder the Elephant, Jurassic Jockeys and Hilary the Triceratops to name a few! In addition, Festive Road will be running a series of creative workshops at their premises, kicking off with Masquerade making camps on Sat 11th June, 18th June and Monday 20th June - 24th June 2016. All the creators and builders can take part in the Walking with Giants Parade, taking place 26th June in Central MK.

Simon Tipping, Director at Festive Road, says "This is an exciting time for Festive Road as we have been unsettled for the past 6 months, not that has stop us from working in the community. Thank you to Milton Keynes Community Foundation for supporting  and helping Festive Road find a new fantastic all round HQ, we are planning big things for 2016, 2017 and beyond.”

Festive Road has played an intrinsic part in supporting a number of local events, from the formation of a carnival on the Lakes Estate in MK for three years, supporting West Bletchley and Woughton Carnival and Bletchley Lights switch on, to raising funding to start a special needs group named Starlight Samba.  Community engagement is a crucial part of what Festive Road do, working closely with a number of schools across the regions to provide workshops and creating a number of interest groups.
