As part of this year's Heritage Open Days, we were delighted to welcome over 90 visitors to Festive Road on the 9th September.
It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves in a relaxed and informal way, whilst also being able to share our passion for Outdoor Art with such a receptive audience.
Visitors took the opportunity to get a real feel for Festive Road - getting up close to all our fantastical creatures and creations; and having a go at making music with our weird and wonderful contraptions, as well as an impressive array of brass instruments kindly donated to Festive Road by Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT).
Visitors also made some fabulous puppets at a drop-in workshop, and it was great to see adults joining in with the children in this frenzy of creativity!
We would like to say a big thank you to all those who came and made it such a rewarding day for the Festive Road Team.
