Festive Road is working with Diwali in Luton (in association with Luton BID and Om group) on their inaugural Diwali Festival.

The free family outdoor event on the 27th October will celebrate the popular Hindu festival of lights, and promises to be one of the biggest events on the 2018 town centre calendar- with the aim of becoming an annual occasion.

Enjoy cultural performances, dancing, singing and visual arts, as well as exceptional UK and international acts. The event will also feature amazing stalls and tasty food places, and the grand finale will be a spectacular procession through town centre streets, organised by Festive Road.

In addition to Harminder, Shanti, Rama & Sita, Festive Road is running a number of public and school workshops making lanterns which will help to illuminate the parade. Local dancers and drummers will also be on hand to add the celebration!
